The Halloween spirit may already be in the air. Annie Dugan jump starts the season with a ghostly theme on this week's Where's Art.
Open through October at Lake Avenue Cafe is Chris Monroe's Ghosts. The series is comprised of oil pastels that might illicit a range of reactions from introspective to humorous.
September 30th from 10am-3pm at Siiviis, jewelry artist Candyce Westfield has a pop-up exhibition. Westfield incorporates inspiration from nature into her work. "She takes those patterns, those delightful surprises of color, lines, shapes that you get from nature and translates that into jewelry form," says Dugan.
The Duluth Folk School is hosting a regular group of Fika and Fiber. The event is on Saturday mornings from 8:30-9:30. Folks are encouraged to bring their own materials, work with fiber, and take a moment of peaceful pause to start the weekend.
