Night driving music for every twisted backroad, metaphorical or otherwise, brought to you five night a week by UMD Student DJs.
Road Salt Radio on The North 103.3 FM steers your late-night journey from 9pm - 1am, laying down gritty, atmospheric tracks that feel like headlights cutting through Northland fog.
- Dust-kicking playlists: Desert blues, gothic Americana, outlaw country, fuzzed-out indie, and midnight soul, sequenced to keep the wheels turning.
- Nocturnal storytelling: Your student hosts weave roadside trivia, tall tales, and artist lore between sets, turning each break into a flickering neon pit stop.
- After-dark discoveries: Hear emerging bands and deep cuts you won’t find on daytime radio—perfect for insomniacs, third-shifters, and star-gazers.
Whether you’re hauling up Highway 61, pulling an all-nighter at the shop, or just chasing the Northern Lights from your back porch, Road Salt Radio is the soundtrack that carries you past the mile markers and into tomorrow. Tune in Mondays-Thursdays at 9pm and Fridays at 11pm, and let the night roll on.
