A new school year has started at the University of Minnesota Duluth and Gavin Orson is taking the reigns as the Music Director for student-led Road Salt Radio at The North. Despite losing his on-air partner due to graduation, Gavin kept up his Monday night timeslot over the summer... and kept listeners up-to-date on what was happening in the world of Zelda.
As our youngest Back Tracks guest to date, the idea of a "first album" gets a bit blurry; Gavin scrolled back through his iTunes to come up with an answer. His first live concert involved primates and projections, and his guilty pleasure song was released 20 years before he was born. "It's a well-crafted pop song - what can I say."
