Host Laura Erickson has published several books about birds, has a regular column in BirdWatching magazine, and is a contributor to the American Birding Association's blog. In 2014 she was the first woman to receive the ABA's Roger Tory Peterson Award for “a lifetime of achievements in promoting the cause of birding.”
