"The Starship Enterprise" is how Erin Kreeger describes the dated appearance of the downtown branch of the Duluth library, but it's more than the visual appeal that needs an update. "It does not function as a modern library, not to mention infrastructure failure," says Kreeger the executive director of the Duluth Library Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on library support since 1990.
Through the end of June the Duluth Library Foundation is accepting input regarding the future of the downtown library. "We want to know how people use the library, what they want to see in the library... we'll take that information and that will inform a complete renovation of the downtown facility," says Kreeger.
The survey closes at the end of the day on June 30th. To take the survey, visit the Duluth Library Foundation website.
