Dan Neff began working with glass as a teenager. "YouTube was not a thing yet," says Neff regarding the resources that he used (or didn't use) to learn his craft. "I taught myself throughout school." After graduation, Neff sought out guidance from world-class glassblowers.
Since those early days Neff has honed his approach to glasswork and now operates Lake Superior Art Glass in Duluth's Canal Park where he brings his visions to life. "Glassblowing is a very methodical process," sayd Neff. "You have to start at the center and keep working outwards... there's no undo button."
Neff and his work will be at the 51st annual Park Point Art Fair this weekend, June 24th and 25th.
