Keep your ears open on June 21st. Music will be happening in cities around the world, including in Superior, WI.
Scott Lillo and others have been helping "Make Music Day" happen in Superior since last year. "The whole idea is to have people play all over the city," says Lillo. "It doesn't matter if you're a five-year-old with a recorder." Performers will be playing from 11am through 9pm in various locations throughout the city.
The now-international event began in France in 1982 and coincides with the summer solstice to maximize outdoor venues. All events are free.
