The third annual Porchfest in Superior kicks off on June 1st. The annual event features different musical acts playing from various porches throughout the city every Thursday during the summer.
The event will begin and end at Girl Scout Point with the Fireside Jam, an acoustic event featuring artists playing tunes in different areas of the park. Every other Thursday in between will focus on different neighborhoods and allow for patrons to walk easily from one music location to another.
Creativity has been the name of the game since the event's inception. Originally planned when Covid hit, organizers adjusted from one event in a central location to several musical acts outdoors. In the three years since its inception the event has grown from solo artists to full rock bands.
