The United Way's Day of Caring takes place on Wednesday, June 21st and includes various volunteer opportunities for residents throughout the Northland. Zoey Legge is charged with coordinating the volunteer efforts and notes that there are still a few openings for people looking to volunteer.
Additionally, Family Rise Together (a community partner) is encouraging people to volunteer at the Juneteenth celebration at Harrison Park on Sunday, June 18th. The event is looking for venders and volunteers.
