Peatlands are an important part of our ecosystems — and one you might not have heard a whole lot about. Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI) research associate Valerie Brady tells us a bit about peatlands, their role as a carbon sink and an important habitat, and what researchers are doing to better understand them.
