Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Morgan Kohler

Morgan Kohler is the latest addition to the team at The North 1033. After a high school experience that included extracurriculars like theatre and speech, a college career that introduced her to the world of radio at 1033, and a few years working in the Twin Cities, Morgan has returned to Duluth and to radio.

As first albums go, Morgan had an affinity for a fictional pop star leading parallel lives. Her first concert was a "final tour" by an icon of late-90s country. And her guilty pleasure song brings her back to her emo middle school days. "As an adult listening to it, you're like 'get some real problems.'"

Back Tracks receives support from Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union. You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.
