Harbor City Roller Derby

Harbor City Roller Derby closes out their 2024 season with an outdoor bout at Lower Chester in Duluth on Saturday, September 14th. The "doors" open at 4:30pm. One of the skaters taking to the track will be Lindsay Hansen, otherwise known as Valhalla-Ramma, who joined HCRD in 2017 and whose name was born from a love of Viking lore.

A more wildly diverse set of answers to our Back Tracks questions there isn't! Lindsay's first album was of a band who (in her assessment) bridged the gap between traditional punk and pop punk. Her first concert was as a youngster supporting her uncle's band that had a unique following several decades ago. And her guilty pleasure song goes in a completely different direction altogether. "It's so heartwarming... it's so great."
