Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Anne Labovitz

A woman wearing black smiles and stand at the top of a modern stairway; large colorful fabric hang from the ceiling behind

If you've walked through the Holiday Center in Duluth recently, you've been privy to the work of Anne Labovitz. North Shore Blue is the latest installment from the Minnesota artist who has strong ties to Lake Superior and the Northland. More information about Anne's work can be found on her website.

As an artist, Anne has strong ties to music and an interesting music history as well. Her first album was by an artist who remains iconic and relevant to this day. Her first concert was a show by one of the most theatrical groups of all time. And her guilty pleasure breaks free of the music world and into that of literature. "I just finished listening to it again for, like, the gabajillionth time."

Keep listening after the guilty pleasure song for more conversation with Anne.
