Vinyl has been a part of Evan Tepler's entire life. It has brought joy, it's been associated with tragedy, and now it's a business plan that's catering to a vacancy in Duluth. Tepler's pop-up record store "Round Here Records" can next be found at Blacklist from 1-4pm on Father's Day.
Whether it's on vinyl or CD, Tepler's song choices for backtracks have a wide range. It was a stop-motion music video that inspired a first album purchase, and his first concert was an oft-mentioned artist that might just be a "gateway" concert for those of a certain age. About his guilty-pleasure song, Tepler says, "There's a song that I have trouble escaping... I've learned to just own it, crank it up, and just let it ride."
