Not everyone has been a part of every Homegrown Music Festival. With the closing weekend of the twenty-fifth Homegrown at hand, Paul Lundgren took the time to talk about some highlights, including the year he tried to see every band; the quest ended by day 2.
In the spirit of the season, Lundgren kept some of his answers local. One of his first albums was a 45 from a local early-80s band with a suggestive name, and his first local concert was built into his preparation for prom night. His guilty pleasure song is one that took a while to find in the karaoke catalogues. Lundgren finally did so at the Rustic Bar where he "killed it" on his birthday a few years back, nailing both the English and the Japanese lyrics.
