Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Amber Burns

Amber Burns has embraced and excelled at various forms of art; painting, acting, dancing. But not every artform has come easily. "I tried guitar for a while, but my dad was teaching me," says Burns. "You know how that goes sometimes." Burns also took 6 months of piano lessons last year. Although it's fallen by the wayside, Burns is intent on getting back to it one of these days. "You're never too old to learn something new."

Burns's musical map started to take shape in the early 2000s with a first album that led to conversation about another album altogether, and a first concert that included a family-style dinner on stage. As guilty-pleasure songs go, Burns didn't hold back talking about a love for Disney movies, both new and old.
