Minorbirds l-r: Jacob Mahon, Megan Barr, Brooke Anderson, and Jeff Gilbertson

Brooke Anderson and Megan Barr form the core of this East-central Minnesota project (they live in the Barnum and Sandstone areas, respectively). The duo splits songwriting duties for their acoustic, harmony-rich songs. They recently released a second album, Body Knows; they performed songs from the release and talked about writing and recording the album when they joined us in the studio on December 1, 2023 in advance of their release show the same night.
