Live from Studio A: Skarlett Woods

This singer/songwriter and guitarist based in Brainerd, Minnesota, recently released her second album, Letters to the West, which she co-produced with Twin Cities musician Kevin Bowe. Her distinctive blend of folk, Americana, and jazz earned her the People’s Choice award at 2023’s Wussow’s One Week Live songwriter competition and 2^nd and 3^rd place showings in the 2022 and 2023 Duluth Dylan Festival songwriting competitions. Woods joined us in the studio on November 17, 2023. We talked about the making of the new album and she shared some songs live in the studio.
