The Pre-Med Club at the University of Minnesota Duluth is hosting their second and final blood drive of the academic year.

The event takes place in the Kirby Ballroom from 11am-5pm on Wednesday, February 15th. Unlike past drives, the upcoming drive is open to community members. “I know the blood drive was initially closed to community members last semester,” says Parker Morse of the Pre-Med Club. “We decided to open that up. Anybody that’s eligible to donate is able to.”

Walk-ups are also welcome as there may be last minute cancelations. “It’s important for people to give blood. Minnesota - we are one of the biggest states for blood contribution,” says Morse. “We’ve got this reputation to uphold.”

If you're interested in donating, search for the University of Minnesota Duluth on the Red Cross website by using the "Find a Blood Drive" search bar in the upper right corner.
