Parker Morse is a member of the pre-med club and a senior at the University of Minnesota Duluth. This Friday, September 9th, the pre-med club is hosting a blood drive in the Kirby rafters from 12pm-5pm.
Blood donations have taken a dip as of late. “During the pandemic a lot of blood drives were closed down,” says Morse. “A pint of blood can save up to three lives.”
Sign-up for the blood drive by using the QR code found on the posters around campus. As of recording, more than half of the donation time slots were still open. If you haven’t donated before, you’re not the only one. “I have not [given blood],” says Morse, “but this time I think I will.”
