Backyard Almanac: Rain, Rain, Come Our Way

Sure, we got some rain, but was it really enough rain? Nope! Larry Weber has been tracking the numbers and, after a very dry May, a little bit of drizzle just isn't going to cut it, especially during what is supposed to be our rainy season.

With May in the rearview, Larry's got his eyes on growing plants, blooming wildflowers, and is counting the hours of sunlight. In the Northland, sunrise is going to reach its earliest even before we get to the solstice. And after the solstice, sunsets will continue to get a later for a few weeks.

You can hear Backyard Almanac every Friday at 8:20am on Northland Morning.
