Green Visions: Treecycling Christmas Trees

The Christmas season is waning, and people are starting to take down the decorations and wonder what exactly to do with the tree.

If you have a real tree, don't just drag it to the curb or even into the woods. The garbage trucks won't take them, and leaving them in the forest risks spreading diseases. Instead, consider treecycling. WLSSD is encouraging area residents to drop off trees to be responsibly processed.

For a list of locations to drop off trees, visit the WLSSD website.

You can hear Green Visions at 8:20am every Wednesday on Northland Morning.
