With the omnipresent clouds, the full moon has managed to sneak up on us. Tonight is the full moon for the month of December. "It'll be a very brilliant full moon way up there in the constellation of Gemini," says Bob King. "It's called the full Cold Moon." Here's hoping for a break in the clouds.
The new year brings promise of another meteor shower. The Quadrantids will peak for a mere 6 hours on the morning of January 4th. "The shower will radiate from a point below the handle of the big dipper." Also look for Mercury to be on display as 2024 comes our way.
