Someone cue up Auld Lang Syne. With 2025 coming to a close, Annie Dugan is looking to next year for art news, and there's plenty to tell.

The Duluth Art Institute is making the most of our nation's bisesquicentennial by focusing on American art with the upcoming exhibition We Hold These Truths. The exhibit will be presented in four installments throughout the year, the first of which will open on January 12th with work by Carl Gawboy and Wendy Savage.

For more art related events about our nation's history, the Karpeles Manuscript Museum has extended hours on Saturday, January 3rd for their exhibition of The Stamp Act. From 4-7pm, guests are invited to witness the exhibit - which features documents signed by the likes of Benjamin Franklin and King George - and listen to music by local musician Hannah Rey.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.

Luke Moravec is the host for Northland Morning on The North 103.3. He’s also a local actor, musician and writer. He loves puzzles, riddles and fun mysteries.
