The Alworth Series for Peace & Justice at the College of St. Scholastica is closing their 2024-25 season with a two-day workshop on April 24th-25th.

The finale will begin on Thursday the 24th with Mending the Arc, an evening of storytelling and community building with the Resonance Network, a Washington DC-based group working toward a world beyond violence. "For the last 13 years or so we have been imagining a bold vision of the world that we're for," says Alexis Flanagan from the Resonance Network.

Friday's all-day component, called Intro to Worldbuilding, focuses on visioning communities, ways of governance, and personal interactions that help to foster peace. Art, conversation, and creative tools will be used to guide participants.

The two-day event is free to all interested parties. Thursday night's event begins at 7:30pm and does not require registration. Groups and individuals are encouraged to sign up for Friday's activities (which take place from 9:30am-4:30pm) through the College of St. Scholastica website. CSS faculty, staff, and students can register using their CSS login credentials, and non-CSS community members can register by creating a simple account.
