There's an art exhibit coming up at the Great Lakes Aquarium featuring the work of Matt Kania. After the Burn focuses on Isle Royale and the landscape that changed after the 2021 wildfire. "Kania has spent lots of time illustrating and drawing, doing sketches of what happened right after the fire," says Annie Dugan. Kania returned afterward to capture how the landscape had changed. "This exhibition showcases that real deep connection to place." Visitors can access the gallery section of the Great Lakes Aquarium free of charge.

On June 7th and 8th the Nordic Center is hosting the second annual Duluth Stämman. This all-weekend-long event will host a variety of traditional Nordic folk music and dance. The event takes place at Weber Music Hall at UMD and at Chester Bowl. More information can be found at the Nordic Center website.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
