This afternoon from 4-5pm at Sacred Heart, the Music Resource Center is hosting an event that will feature music, pizza, and lots of information about spring and summer classes.

The Music Resource Center (MRC) continues to provide music opportunities and encouragement for area youth. Program Director Shawna Weaver and other staff help make the Sacred Heart space available from 3:30-7pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. MRC is still accepting spring members while also encouraging registration for summer sessions. For more information or to register, find more at the Duluth Armory website.

If you're going to today's event, bring earplugs. Yeah Yeah Yeahs cover band, Hot Hot Hot, will be providing the music, and Drummer Shanna Willie says it's going to get loud.

You can hear Community Connection every Tuesday and Thursday at 8am on Northland Morning.

Luke Moravec is the host for Northland Morning on The North 103.3. He’s also a local actor, musician and writer. He loves puzzles, riddles and fun mysteries.
