It's been a successful season for the Solon Springs High School Boys Basketball Team. The win column was flush throughout the season; a season that will continue on Friday with a trip to Madison for the State Tournament.

For Coach Marcus Besonen, the wins are the goal, but improvement is the mark of success. "If we can get better at something every day that's going to help us in a game... that's what we're looking for in success on the court," says Besonen who also notes that the way to on-court success was made easier because of the existing positive rapport among teammates. "We've got such a great group of guys that we haven't had to put a ton of effort into the team mentality."

The Solon Springs Eagles will face Columbus Catholic at Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin this Friday in the Division 5 State Semifinal. Tip-off is set for 9:05am.
