Memorial Day brings about the unofficial start of summer, and the summer starts with plenty of art opportunities in the Northland.
The Duluth Art Institute opens their membership show. The free exhibition will be a display of works from 120 different artists. Annie Dugan calls this event "an absolute stunner."
The DAI is also highlighting their emerging photographers exhibit which can be experienced via the Duluth Art Institute website.
And as an artist focus, Dugan notes the print making work of Sonia Fields. Fields is the artist behind this year's Free Range Film Festival poster.
