Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Julie Ahasay

Originally from Shell Lake, Wisconsin, Julie Ahasay has been an indelible part of the Twin Ports theater scene for decades. She’s performed on stage countless times and takes her turn in the director’s chair frequently. Her next venture finds her as part of the ensemble in an upcoming production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night.

When it comes to the three questions set before her, Ahasay noted a first album that introduced the world to a legendary band, a first concert that inspires an Abbott and Costello-esque joke, and a heartfelt guilty pleasure song that was primarily used to sell whiskey.
