Bret Amundson has been leading vocal groups in Duluth since his arrival twelve years ago. Amundson is the director of choral projects at the College of St. Scholastica and the artistic director for the Lake Superior Youth Chorus.

For Amundson, music is all about the connection. His first purchased albums were by a band that hit their stride in the mid-90s, his only live concert was a memorable time with an English legend, and over the pandemic Amundson discovered a new guilty pleasure in a long-standing Canadian artist. “I do not know what happened to me.”
