Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Emma Deaner

Emma Deaner is surrounded by music. She’s been a member of the band Superior Siren since 2016 and is currently employed as the entertainment curator for the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Taking on the three Back Tracks questions wasn’t a tall task by any means.

So, we threw in a fourth question.

In addition to revealing a punk-rock-CD-burning past and recalling an early live show feature two legends, Deaner gave us a glimpse into a show bill that she’d like to see… before dropping the bomb with her guilty pleasure song. “I normally like to think of myself as an avant-guard listener… but I still love pop music."

You can hear Back Tracks every Friday morning at 8am.
