Recently returned Duluthian Alyssa Johnson is finding new audiences for her work in photography opening her second show in as many months. Her new showcase called Once Upon an Imagination, and is aptly subtitled, "Rediscovering our youthful sense of wonder." Her show, which captures glimpses of nature through fresh eyes, opens at The Red Herring Lounge on Thursday Dec. 13 with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m.
Johnson has recently shown her work at Beaner's Central, is founder of Blind Spot Creatives and can be found sharing her passion for photography at the Tischer Photographic Gallery on Superior Street. She spoke with Radio Gallery about inspirations for her new show and her journey as a photographer.
Once Upon an Imagination: Rediscovering our youthful sense of wonder" will be on display Dec. 13 through February at The Red Herring. The Red Herring is located at 208 E 1st Street in Duluth.
