Radio Gallery: Saving Brinton

Tommy Haines

The Haines brothers, originally from Mt. Iron, Minnesota, are bringing their documentary film, Saving Brinton, to Duluth this Thursday, August 16 for a one time showing event.

Producer J.T Haines and Director Tommy Haines have received golden reviews as they their film, Saving Brinton, a documentary about an Iowa history professor who rescued and preserved the Brinton Entertainment Company archive of films. Brinton Entertainment Company toured their worldly films throughout the central U.S. at the turn of the century and the unearthing and sharing of these films led to the filming of "Saving Brinton."

This special screening at Zeitgeist Arts in downtown Duluth includes a visit from the star of the film, Michael Zahs who will also show some the archives films to the soundtrack of Iowa based band, The Pines.

Director Tommy Haines and the films central character Michael Zahs join us here on Radio Gallery to share more about the film.
