Radio Gallery: Virginia Minnesota

Director: Daniel Stine

The Duluth Superior Film Festival celebrates opening night with the Northland premier of the locally-filmed heart-warming story "Virginia Minnesota" on Wednesday, May 30 at Clyde Iron Works.

Written and directed by Atlanta-based filmmaker Daniel Stine, "Virginia Minnesota" is a story born in Virginia but was filmed up and down the North Shore.  Director Daniel Stine and actress Rachel Hendrix will be in attendance. Stine joins us on Radio Gallery to talk about making of his first full-length feature film.

This first film of the Duluth Suprior Film Festival plays at 8pm at Clyde Iron Works in the main event room. Hang out after the film for the post-screening reception upstairs in the Clyde Iron Mezzanine with comlimentary Clyde Iron appetizers and Lake Superior Brewing beer.

There is a second chance showing of Virginia Minnesota on Saturday, 9pm at Zinema.  The festival continues daily through Sunday, June 3 with nearly 30 films showing including: independent films, local shorts, Minnesota-made films, documentaries and more at Zinema, AICHO and The Comet Theater in Cook.

The Duluth Film Festival is free but powered by donations; so grab a friend and take a chance on a film or three for FREE.  If you like the film or the festival, there are opportunities to donate after most film showings.
