The annual Duluth Superior Film Festival is happening, June 1-5 and admission free! The annual festival celebrates local productions and is bringing more than 20 films to screens in Duluth and Cook, MN over the next 5 days. This year's festival includes Minnesota premiers of Hollywood films, an opening night film & party at Clyde Iron Works, plus concerts, discussions and director Q&As. Festival headquarters is at Zeitgeist Arts on Superior Street in downtown Duluth.
Film highlights include opening night film The Seventh Fire, an acclaimed film about gang life at White Earth reservation, a film made in Duluth called Artificial, Superior, an epic tale of riding around the big lake and many more. A late addition to the festival is a production filmed in Virginia, Minnesota, turning closing night into closing afternoon. The line-up at the Cook Historic Comet Theater is; at 3 & 5pm I am Not a Serial Killer and as originally planned the MN Premier of After the Reality at 7 & 9pm.
