There is a new kid on the block; it's Art in Bayfront Park happening this weekend. It's a 2-day art festival with 180 participating artists, plus music, food, drinks and a Kids Corner.

This festival is a juried show with awards for best in show in different categories including Jewelry, Clay Fiber, Glass Painting Photography, Sculpture, Wood and Mixed Media.
My guest today is Thomas Lott, a very fine jeweler who won last years Best in Show for jewelry and Overall Best in Show. A self-proclaimed "rock hound," Lott makes precision pieces that are on par with the best jewelers in the world. He is a true artists in his field.
"Art in Bayfront Park" happens weekend August 16th and 17th, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm at Bayfront Park in Duluth.
