A painter, collage artist and more, Earl Austin, his family and the Duluth Art Institute have pulled together works from his personal collection for a spectacular show. A lifelong Duluth artist, Earl Austin paintings range from charming and stylized to traditional landscape.
The Duluth Art Institute retrospective exhibit is a body of work that is inspiring, thoughtful and nicely reflects a breadth in Austin's work.
Earl Austin: Retrospective is up through October 19 in the Corridor Gallery with an opening Reception, September 11, from 5 - 7 pm.
There is also a public sale of the work in the show on September 20, from 10 am - 3 pm.
