This week Radio Gallery is spotlighting a special exhibit: Homegrown: Visual Arts Edition in the Corridor Gallery. The festival runs from April 5th through May 26th at the Duluth Art Institute.

The Duluth Homegrown Music Festival is gearing up and art venues around town are doing the same. The Homegrown: Visual Arts Edition opens on April 5th at the Duluth Art Institute. Local art will be celebrating local music at this event! Sarah Heimer has been solicited for gig posters and a few years ago her work was on the cover of the Homegrown Guide.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
