Franconia Sculpture Park will be hosting the 15th Annual Franconia Art & Artists Celebration on Saturday September 24th from 10:00am to 10:00pm. The sculpture park is located at 29836 St. Croix Trail in Franconia, MN.

Franconia Sculpture Park is an interactive sculpture garden that began in 1996 as a way to support artists, and to provide community events and classes. John Hock, the Artistic Director and CEO of Franconia Sculpture Park, joins Radio Gallery to talk about how the sculpture park plays an important role in the community with events like the Annual Franconia Art and Artists Celebration. This year marks the 15th Annual Arts and Artists celebration and will be featuring 40 new works with the entertainment of music, poets, food, face painting, and much more. It takes place on Saturday September 24th from 10:00am to 10:00pm and is located at 29836 St. Croix Trail in Franconia, MN.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
