Radio Gallery 09-07-2011: Lydia Diemer

Print maker Lydia Diemer joins Radio Gallery to share details about the exhibit titled "Collegial" that is on display at the Duluth Art Institute until October 30th, 2011. She worked in collaboration with performance and video artist Betsy Hunt, and the exhibit also presents new work through further collaborative efforts by Riley Hanick and Zach Moser. Diemer talks about her experience of working with another person by sharing various ideas and reactions to create a unified piece. Her work has to do with spaces she has observed and is a response to vast empty retail spaces in her travels. "Collegial" is on display at the Duluth Art Institute located at 506 W Michigan St. in Duluth, MN. The opening reception takes place September 8th and there will be an artist dialogue on August 18th from 5 - 7 PM.
