When we first met Jon Edwards in 2024, the Duluth guitarist, singer, and songwriter was still in high school and was about to open a show for one of his musical influences, Charlie Parr. We caught up with Edwards when he joined us in the studio on January 16, 2026 as he was preparing once again to open for Parr, this time at a benefit concert for Duluth Sister Cities. Edwards shared new music for his planned next album.
