Edelmann is a well-known Finnish actor as well as a musician who’s sold more than half a million albums, making him one of Finland’s best-selling male artists. He performs for this year’s Finnfest on Saturday, July 29 at 8pm at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center’s Symphony Hall. He and his band joined us in the studio on July 28th, 2023; he talked with the North 103.3's Christine Dean about his latest acting project, the Finnish TV series Poromafia (Reindeer Mafia in English), which is set in Lappland, and about his eclectic music career. He's had great success as a pop artist but has also released three albums of hymns and collaborated with his father on two albums taking inspiration from the works of Shakespear, Goethe, and others.
