Christine Dean for the North 103.3

After building a following in the Twin Ports and releasing their first album, this Duluth band moved west to Anaheim, California, the hometown of drummer Cody Thoreson, in 2021. They’ve found new audiences in California, and recorded their second album, Viewfinder, in the Los Angeles area with the guiding principle of creating something “big, bold, and beautiful.” While on on tour behind the new album, they returned to the Twin Ports on July 22, 2023 to perform at Earth Rider Brewery; they stopped by our studios for a session that aired on July 24, 2023. They talked with the North 103.3's Christine Dean about what it was like uprooting the band and starting over on the West Coast and about the making of Viewfinder, and they performed three songs from the album.
