Live from Studio A: Lehto and Wright

John Wright, Steve Lehto, and Matt Jacobs have been performing together as Lehto & Wright since 1999. The Twin Cities group sometimes plays as a duo featuring guitarists Wright and Lehto, and sometimes as a trio with Jacobs on drums. They combine Celtic-influenced Folk-Rock and Progressive Rock into their own distinct, modern sound. When Lehto and Wright joined us in the studion on July 13, they performed some tunes and we talked about their long history as a band, making their most recent album, their plans for the next album, and what it was like having the opportunity to perform their music with an orchestra. They performed the same evening to kick off the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College’s Hot Summer Nights Concert Series.
