Regardless of what school looks like this fall, kids at the Steve O'Neil Apartments in Duluth will be ready for it.
And so will their parents.
The Steve O'Neill Apartments were designed to give families a safe place to be and access to a variety of services designed to help them get back on their feet after being homeless.
But Amy Swensen, the services coordinator, says she soon realized access to the internet wasn't just something that would be nice to have, for the residents, it was a necessity. And the community stepped up in a big way to help.
