A November garden might not need excessive attention, but it may inspire some reflection. And while you're looking back on the season that was, pick up those tools and give them a good cleaning.
"In November, I like to clean my gardening tools," says Tom Kasper. "It's an important act as far as, not only saving money, but also preserving some of your purchases." After wiping away dirt, files can be used to sharped edges, and sandpaper and linseed oil can be used to provide extra care for wooden handles.
Giving these tools some care and attention before hanging them up for the season will better help you to be ready for when that distant spring eventually comes our way.
