Dr. Randy Hanson, Director of the UMD Land Lab joins us to talk about the 2018 UMD Farm Fest, a celebration of community, food, art and the hard-work of our on-campus farm, happening this Sunday from 12 to 4 pm at the UMD Land Lab, aka the Sustainable Agriculture Project Farm.

Featuring tours of the farm, educational activities around sustainability, a farm fresh meal from UMD Dining Services (from 12-2pm), music by KUMD, the Boys Back Home Brass Band, and Four Mile Portage, kids activities, and farmers and crafts market.  The Magic Smelt Puppet Troupe will also be performing Welcome to the Anthropocene, an original pageant featuring oversized puppets at 2 pm.
