KUMD is proud to sponsor the UMD Farm Fest on Sunday, September 16th from 12:00-4:00pm.
The Farm Fest invites the Twin Ports community to celebrate the bounty of the season as they showcase the hard work of their staff and students at the 30 acre UMD Land Lab. Featuring tours of the farm, educational activities around sustainability, a farm fresh buffet from UMD Dining Services (from 12-2pm), music by KUMD & the Boys Back Home Brass Band, kids activities, and farmers and crafts market! The Magic Smelt Puppet Troupe will also be performing "Food Protectors," an original pageant featuring oversized puppets at 2pm. Free entrance & parking with modest cost for meal. Come join the celebration, eat great food, enjoy the activities, and purchase your locally harvested produce!
