Keep your eyes open for art. You never know just where it'll pop up - and you never know who'll be responsible for it.
The Whole Foods Co-op in Denfeld currently has art on the walls. The work of acrylic and oil artist Amy Rutten is on display. A self-portrait and landscapes can be viewed along with some still-lifes of food. At the hillside Co-op, the Duluth Art Institute has curated work from youths.
More art from young artists is on display at the Holden Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin Superior. The juried student exhibition features work from students across all art classes - not just work from art majors.
The Visual Arts Classic just wrapped up. The day's events included work from youths. Some of the work is brought in by youths and other art is created on the day of. One of the tasks included students creating an outfit for their teachers made out of art supplies like construction paper and cardboard.
